Burstio – Animate your burst photos App Reviews

I have iCloud Photo Library enabled and the app doesn’t seem to get along with it, but new bursts work just as advertised. The developer reached out to me after my last review and we were able to figure out the problem with iCloud, which I really appreciated. As far as I can tell, this is the only app that turns bursts into GIFs. I’d love to see animation filters in the future, like a “flip book” animation. But for a 1.0, I dig it.

After the app opens it immediately crashes my whole phone, I really like what it does but its really frustrating not to be able to USE THE APP iPhone 6plus !

This is it! Ive been waiting for an app that will take my burst mode photos and turn them into gifs. Its easy to take burst mode photos and convenient that they save as one photo in my Camera roll, but its really frustrating to have to find an app that will turn them into gifs. HERE IT IS.

Great idea to pull straight from burst mode without having to save the photos out individually, but without the ability to control the exact speed, and more importantly, without the ability to make a continuous gif going forward and backward to forward again, its pretty much worthless. If those features were added, as well as a file size indicator so I know that Im under the Tumblr 1.75mb threshold, Id give it 5 stars. Otherwise, Id love my money back.

Lacks a few features - manual control over speed rather than 3 modes Pick frames and remove them Reverse loop

Does exactly what it advertises The only way it could be better is if you can combine two burst images together to create a longer one

Ive taken burst photos before and loved scrolling through them and making it look like a flip book. This app is exactly what I was thinking of and does in the way that is simple but effective. Highly recommended if you want to make some personal GIFs to share with your friends and family!

Not great the options are very limited and the pics have to be from burst mode

This is exactly what I was looking for. Sadly theres no options for resolutions of exported gif, it always trim it down to 320*240. Poor effort.

Does what I need. Although I wish it could work with a video as well. Updates looks promising as I know the yoyo thing was highly used in cinemagram due to the smoother transitions it creates.

It does what I need. I can see where a few tweaks could be made based on my own experience as well as what I have seen in other reviews but it is very solid. Thank you for it!

App fulfills a convenient function (seriously iOS: no gif feature in burst photos??) and I use it often.

I wish it could provide an option to extend video loop for instagram, cause my bursts videos arent quite long enough.

Just what I wanted! Simple and lots of fun!

It is pretty awesome to be able to turn bursts into animations. But then you realize that the gif image size is ridiculously small and cant be changed. Bummer. And the app should let you view gifs created in the past, but it doesnt. Highly disappointed.

It works to quickly create GIFs from burst photos, but it needs more adjustable settings and to increase the size of the GIFs that it outputs. Theyre tiny!!!
